THE CRASH REEL

I just watched the dramatic story of the life-changing accident of US snowboarder Kevin Pearce back in 2009. The documentary provides deep insight into Kevin's long and challenging recovery from his serious T.B.I. as well as his life after the crash.
We all know that fun comes with a lot of risk but hardly ever realise how bad a single wrong turn can go. This film exposes quite bluntly exactly this one moment where things go wrong and how drastically the consequences are. To me, watching it was really intense since I'm somehow able to relate to being out there in sometimes quite dangerous situations in which you usually just tell yourself that nothing bad is going to happen.

Even if you're not a snowboarder or sports addict at all, take the time to watch this inspiring documentary about fragility of life, hope, disillusion and simple, plain happiness.

KORB - CCTV Documentary (Director's Cut)

Korb really never fails to impress me with their super solid implementation of abstract ideas. Although the concept behind these clips are not entirely new to me, I'm utterly in love with their visual style and approach. But see yourself..

KONY

Well, you've all heard about this cause and most probably seen the video. In case you haven't, take your time and watch it to take part in numerous discussions wether this is something to support or not.

KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.
