Produced by Chipotle, the film was created by Academy Award–winning Moonbot Studios and is set to a remake of the song “Pure Imagination” from the 1971 film classic “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”

So what would you do, if you can have the whole world, but your insecurities hold you back just because you believe in other people's opinions?

What would you do, if you found the love of your life and a sudden unexpected occurrence changes everything in a fraction of a second?

Some experiences might be hurtful and harsh.

THIS IS ERIC KOSTON

Quite inspiring short film by Desillusion Magazine and Nike on pro skateboarder Eric Koston, one of the most influential characters in the board culture scene since its earliest days. I really dig his attitude towards life and his one and only passion - skateboarding - which strongly defines who he is. He never set off to become a pro athlete, he just pursued what he loved to do the most.

Every once in a while, we should remind ourselves that being able to do what we love is a privilege, and not a matter of course. And we should be grateful more often and appreciate what we got.

This is the first of eight parts of a short film series called 'Illusions'. I very much enjoyed the visual concept as well as the mesmerising voice-over that just kinda sucks you in. Directed by Animal VFX.

EVERYDAY

Sweet story line and visually absolutely matching execution in this lovely short directed by Gustav Johansson. Love the concept of the whole thing, they way the idea is presented to the viewer. Kinda makes one wish for it to happen for real..

Redbull Defeat

Great short from director Matthaüs Bussman, DOP Sebastian Wintero. Love the words and the score, very encouraging.

Stardust

PostPanic director Mischa Rozema's new short film, Stardust, is a story about Voyager 1 (the unmanned spacecraft launched in 1977 to explore the outer solar system). The probe is the furthest man-made object from the sun and witnesses unimaginable beauty and destruction. The film was triggered by the death of Dutch graphic designer Arjan Groot, who died aged 39 on 16th July 2011 from cancer.

Requiem 2019

The last remaining blue whale comes eye to eye with its only enemy; mankind. The film was directed by Rutger Hauer & Sil van der Woerd, who felt an urge to bring attention to the ongoing whaling. If you love whales and oceans like we do, please share this film!

MUCH BETTER NOW

Finally, the amazing live action/stop-motion/3d animation short 'Much Better Now' by my good friends Simon and Philipp a.k.a. 'Salon Alpin' is out!
The plot in their own words:

Much Better Now is an independent mixed-media short film. It combines live-action, stop-motion, 3D animation and tells the story of a bookmark, stuck in a forgotten book, in a life marked by standstill in a deserted room.

..and how they felt about creating it:

To work on this stop-motion project had the same creative impulse on us, as the wind has on our little character. We tell a universal story of evolution in a inspiring new way by using surfing as a metaphor, and no-one knows what future books will bring.
