A Day in Paris

seen this one a couple of months ago, directed by Benoit Millot. as i'll head to the OFFF 2010 - International Festival for the Post-Digital Creation Culture - in june together with the guys from Eat My Dear and Onesize, i'm really psyched about seeing Paris again after so many years.. and this flick really makes me looking forward to this great event - cya there!

thank you so much for participating in our initiative and making your blog carbon neutral! Your tree will be planted this month by the Arbor Day Foundation. The scheduled start plant date was Monday, April 19 and the trees will be planted by a contracted crew. The roads are being plowed, all contracts solidified, and twelve shipments of 150,000 seedling each are being assembled. We thank you for the support!

There are still some trees looking for a sponsor. So if you know some people who have a blog or website, pass it on and we'll make their blogs carbon neutral too!

i stumbled upon this nice short called 458nm by Polynoid from 2006. i liked the pace of the movie and how it evolves over time. great compositing and focus shifting paired with adequate sound design made it a nice start into my day, along with a big hot cup of coffee..

Gkaster Reel & Mercurial

france based Gkaster just released their new April 2010 Reel and i gotta say i really dig it.. it's such a nice piece of cg and compositing work combined with beautiful music by Philippe Gully. go check it out yourself..




furthermore, a couple of days ago Gkaster finished a 130" spot for the new Nike Mercurial football boots. pretty massive cg piece revealing the exclusive features of the shoe. very well done i'd say though the storyline seems a little weird towards the end..

The Big Picture

it's been a while since i posted some new stuff here. this is due to my stay in austria in order to complete my bachelor exams (successfully) and to visit my friends. we've been out shredding a lot these days and it was one of the best times in my life hanging around with my buddies, enjoying life and nature.. let's keep it up dudes! i'll add some shots from my stay in austria within the next few days.

in january, i was offered a job here in amsterdam at PostPanic and i decided to use this opportunity.. contract killer haha! this gives me the amazing opportunity to work on cool projects for considerable clients like nike, mtv, heineken and so on.. i'm planning to release a new online portfolio with all projects i worked on lately a.s.a.p. so stay tuned.

to start off in here again i'll post you some damn nice shots taken during vancouver 2010 winter olympics. here you go!
