Billabong Pro Teahupoo 2011

The Billabong Pro Teahupoo 2011 went down with epic conditions on day 9, resulting in multiple perfect 10 scores for Jeremy Flores, Owen Wright, Matt Wilkinson, Kai Otton and Raoni Monteiro. Kelly did it again taking out the 1st place following A.I.'s last year's success.
In the event within the event Jeremy Flores was awarded the A.I. Forever Award, handed over by Bruce Irons.

Check out the day 9 and event highlights if you haven't seen it live anyways; great Phantom footage included..

Das Café am Rande der Welt

Today my first book recommendation on here has its premiere. I recently got this short read called "Das Café am Rande der Welt" (original title: The Why Cafe) written by John Strelecky. This book expresses so well what I think most people seem to miss or ignore: the significance of being happy in life, to follow your dreams and to find happiness within your passion.

Check it out, seriously..

MOVE EAT LEARN

Most probably, a lot of you have already seen this but for those who haven't and for those who liked them as much as I do, here are 3 amazing shorts called MOVE, EAT, LEARN. Beautifully shot all around the planet, these images tell an infinite amount of stories about culture, traveling, nature and experiences in life. Watching them gives me itchy feet instantly..

"3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage... all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ....into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films.....

= a trip of a lifetime."
